Building the Future of Fresh on the West Coast

From our family-owned greenhouses in British Columbia and California, Millennium Pacific is building the future of fresh — growing premium vegetables with care, innovation, and a commitment to quality you can taste.

Our Story

Founded in 1999 on the edge of a new millennium, Millennium Pacific Greenhouses began with a simple belief — fresh could be grown differently. What started as a single greenhouse in Delta, British Columbia has grown into a family-owned West Coast producer committed to quality, innovation, and building a better future for fresh produce.

Before growing vegetables, founder Shirvan Bakhtiyari spent his career building structures — from homes and skyscrapers to eventually greenhouses. That same passion for precision, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement became the foundation of Millennium Pacific. Today, we continue that vision, combining family values with advanced greenhouse technology to grow fresh, flavorful produce year-round.

Growing With Purpose

We believe fresh food has the power to bring people together. Our purpose is to create something positive — growing with care, create more good in the world and find joy in growing something meaningful together.

Family Values, Fresh Thinking

For over 25 years, our family-owned business has grown through hard work, passion, and a commitment to delivering fresh produce with care.

Quality From Seed to Shelf

Because we grow what we sell, we manage every step of the journey — ensuring freshness, consistency, and quality in every harvest.

Building the Future of Fresh

Through greenhouse technology, innovation, and responsible growth, we’re creating a stronger future for fresh produce on the West Coast.

Sustainable by Design

Every greenhouse we build reflects our commitment to growing smarter. Through innovation, technology, and responsible farming practices, we’re creating a more sustainable future for fresh produce.

Precision Growing

Our advanced greenhouse environments allow us to carefully manage every detail — creating optimal conditions that support quality, consistency, and responsible resource use.

Growing Closer to Home

With farms across British Columbia and California, we’re bringing fresh produce closer to West Coast communities — reducing travel time while improving freshness and reliability.

Investing in Tomorrow

From energy-efficient technology to our next generation of greenhouse facilities, we continue building a stronger, more sustainable food system for the future.

What makes greenhouse-grown produce different?

Greenhouse growing allows us to create the ideal environment for our plants year-round. By carefully managing light, temperature, water, and nutrients, we can grow fresh, flavorful produce with consistent quality.

Our produce is grown in advanced greenhouse facilities across the West Coast, with locations in British Columbia and California. Growing closer to home helps us deliver fresher produce with a shorter journey from greenhouse to table.

Great flavor starts with healthy plants. Our growers carefully balance climate, nutrition, and growing conditions so every plant has what it needs to produce fresh, flavorful vegetables.

Our greenhouses combine generations of growing experience with advanced technology. From climate controls to supplemental lighting, we create the best possible environment for our plants to thrive.

Yes. Through our West Coast greenhouse network and investments in technology like LED lighting, we’re expanding our ability to provide fresh, locally grown produce throughout the year.

Greenhouse farming allows us to grow smarter by using resources efficiently, protecting our crops naturally, and producing more fresh food using less land compared to traditional farming methods.

Being West Coast grown means our produce travels a shorter distance to many of the communities we serve — helping deliver better freshness, quality, and reliability.
